Con il linguaggio gli elementi sconosciuti, e quindi privi di senso, acquisiscono nomi e diventano classificabili. Il confine di un sistema è definibile in senso astratto come un insieme di punti che appartengono nello stesso tempo allo spazio interno di configurazione ed al suo spazio esterno. In questo senso tutti i punti del sistema sono coerenti, compresi quelli del confine, ma, pur in questa coerenza, questi ultimi presentano una particolarità che consiste nella loro proprietà separante.
Oltre a proteggere dai pericoli esterni, il cancello, può diventare riparo interiore, segno tangibile dell’organizzazione dello spazio interno, del suo tirarsi fuori dal nulla, dell’istituzione o della preservazione di un ordine.
La dinamica della pressione interna mette in crisi il confine e contempla anche l’esito estremo di questa tensione, ovvero l’ex-cedere, l’andare al di là del limite, l’eccesso come atto che spezza il contorno e prevede la fuoriuscita dal sistema. Questa topologia prevede nuove implicazioni quando si considerano gli aspetti dinamici che riguardano il sistema ed i suoi confini. Nel caso di forze espansive interne si ha una pressione endogena sul confine che genera tensione, mettendo in crisi l’insieme dei punti comuni ad interno ed esterno.

2 -Varcare la soglia e documentare l'azione con qualsiasi mezzo (scrittura, foto, video, musica etc...);
3 - Una zona di cancellazione può essere privata o pubblica;
4 - Il cancello non deve essere di proprietà di chi effettua la foto.
